Re:Zero Season 4 wraps its 11-episode Loss Arc on June 17 before entering a two-month hiatus, with the Recapture Arc set to premiere on August 12.

Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Season 4 will air its Loss Arc finale, Episode 11, on June 17. The episode marks the end of the season's first cour and the beginning of an approximately two-month hiatus before the Recapture Arc kicks off on August 12.
Season 4 spans a total of 19 episodes split into two arcs. The first cour, titled the Loss Arc, consists of 11 episodes that began airing on April 8 and will conclude with next week's broadcast. The second cour, the Recapture Arc, picks up with eight episodes starting August 12, giving the production team at studio WHITE FOX roughly eight weeks of breathing room between the two halves.
The split-cour format has become increasingly common for ambitious anime adaptations, and for a series as narratively dense as Re:Zero, the structure allows each arc to maintain consistent visual quality throughout its run. Director Masahiro Shinohara and series composer Masahiro Yokotani return to helm the adaptation, with Kenichiro Suehiro once again handling the musical score.
The season's ending theme, "Ender Ember," is performed by MYTH & ROID featuring TK from Ling tosite sigure, marking the first-ever collaboration between the two acts. MYTH & ROID described the track as exploring "the lingering heat that remains after an ending," a fitting thematic companion to the Loss Arc's dramatic stakes. On the opening side, Konomi Suzuki teams up with Ashnikko for "Recollect," continuing Suzuki's long-standing association with the Re:Zero franchise.
Yusuke Kobayashi reprises his role as Subaru Natsuki, alongside Rie Takahashi as Emilia and Inori Minase as Rem. The Loss Arc has centered on some of the series' most emotionally grueling material yet, pushing Subaru through repeated cycles of failure and sacrifice as the story builds toward a turning point that sets the stage for the Recapture Arc's higher-stakes conflict.
The season also marks Re:Zero's 10th anniversary as a franchise, a milestone celebrated with a special collaboration with Japan's Tottori Prefecture, inspired by the in-series Auguria Dunes setting. The tie-up underscores the franchise's continued cultural footprint a decade after Tappei Nagatsuki's original web novel began gaining traction.
Crunchyroll streams Re:Zero Season 4 simulcast, including in India. Episode 11 will be available on the platform following its June 17 Japanese broadcast. Viewers who prefer to binge the first cour will have the full 11-episode Loss Arc available on the service during the hiatus window. The Recapture Arc then resumes weekly episodes from August 12, carrying the season through the summer lineup.
With the Loss Arc wrapping next week, fans face a brief but notable wait before the story picks back up. The eight-episode Recapture Arc is expected to bring the season to its conclusion sometime in early October.
