The MARRIAGETOXIN anime released a Season 2 promotional video and main visual online on September 8. The new material arrives ahead of the sequel's January 2027 Japanese broadcast and revisits Hikaru Gero's search for a marriage partner alongside his battles with the series' elite fighters.

Gero comes from a centuries-old line of assassins and is trained as a poison user, but his mission is marriage rather than another contract. He works with Mei Kinosaki, a marriage swindler whose expertise gives him a way into a world he does not understand.
