By using the Silime website (silime.in) or mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Silime is an anime news and information platform. The Service provides:

Anime news, reviews, and articles
Seasonal anime schedules and airing information
Anime details including synopses, genres, trailers, and streaming links
Personalised anime recommendations (For You feed)
Search across articles and anime titles
Push notifications for breaking news and new articles (mobile app)
Newsletter subscription

You do not need an account to browse. Signing in via Google, Apple, or email/password is optional and unlocks personalisation features.

3. Accounts

By signing in, you agree that:

You are responsible for your account security. We never see or store your Google or Apple password. Email passwords are securely handled by our authentication provider
You will not share your account or impersonate others
You can delete your account any time from Settings → My Account → Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for details
We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms

4. Content

Original articles and reviews are owned by Silime. You may share them via the provided sharing tools or quote excerpts with attribution. You may not reproduce full articles or use our content commercially without permission.

Anime images, trailers, and related content belong to their respective copyright holders. Silime is a fan-run service and is not affiliated with any anime studio or streaming platform.

5. User Responsibilities

Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service
Do not use bots or scrapers without permission
Respect intellectual property rights

6. Personalisation

The app may personalise your experience based on a short quiz and your interaction patterns. This data is used solely to improve your recommendations and is deleted when you delete your account.

7. Push Notifications

You can enable push notifications for breaking news and new articles. You may disable them any time via app settings or your device settings.

8. Newsletter

By subscribing, you consent to periodic anime news emails. Unsubscribe any time via the link in each email.

9. Intellectual Property

The Silime name, logo, and branding are our property. Anime titles, characters, and related properties are trademarks of their respective owners.

10. External Links

The Service may link to third-party websites (streaming platforms, social media). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee all information is error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silime shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Community Guidelines

We expect respectful behaviour across our social channels, feedback forms, and contact forms. We may block accounts that post spam, harassment, hate speech, pirated content, or misinformation.

14. Copyright

If you believe content on Silime infringes your copyright, contact us at contactsilime@gmail.com with a description of the copyrighted work and the URL of the infringing content.

15. Termination

You can stop using Silime at any time by deleting your account, unsubscribing from the newsletter, or uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of India.
