One Piece and Jurassic Park Unite for Universal Studios Japan Anniversary Goods
Universal Studios Japan will launch One Piece and Jurassic Park crossover merchandise for its 25th anniversary on September 9.

Universal Studios Japan announced on August 25 that One Piece and Jurassic Park are teaming up for original merchandise celebrating the Osaka theme park's 25th anniversary. The collection is scheduled to go on sale September 9, 2026, at the park's Studio Style shop, while the official online store is also preparing to begin sales that day.
What the anniversary crossover brings together
The main artwork puts Monkey D. Luffy inside the tropical world of Jurassic Park. He is shown holding a turkey leg and reacting with excitement beside a huge Tyrannosaurus rex, turning the Straw Hat captain's love of food and adventure into a natural match for the dinosaur attraction.
The composition keeps the collaboration tied to the park itself. Luffy is not simply standing beside a franchise logo; the tropical setting, park food, and Tyrannosaurus rex make the Jurassic Park area the scene of his latest outing. The announcement is about merchandise rather than a new anime installment or attraction. That distinction defines what visitors can expect on September 9: a commemorative product line using crossover art, not a newly announced ride or stage show.
That pairing is the central hook. One Piece has long been associated with summer entertainment at Universal Studios Japan, including the recurring One Piece Premier Show, while Jurassic Park is one of the park's established themed areas. The merchandise combines those two familiar parts of the resort rather than presenting the anime cast in an unrelated anniversary logo treatment.
Universal Studios Japan framed the crossover around its 25th-anniversary theme, "Discover U!!!," which emphasizes unexpected combinations involving properties that have helped define the park. The wider special-goods program also includes Detective Conan with Back to the Future and Tomie with Street Zombies. All three match Japanese anime or horror properties with Universal park experiences, while the One Piece collection builds specifically on a relationship already familiar to summer visitors.
Series creator Eiichiro Oda also sent a message congratulating the park on its 25th anniversary. He reflected on visiting during the annual summer Premier Show period, praised the enthusiasm of staff developing future projects, and connected that energy with the smiles of guests. His involvement gives the rollout a direct acknowledgment from One Piece's creator, even though the products themselves remain the focus of the announcement.
How the September 9 sale will work
Inside the park, the announced sales location is Studio Style. Buyers must show either a valid admission ticket for that day or an annual pass, and numbered entry tickets may be distributed depending on conditions. Universal Studios Japan also warns that the sales date, shop, and product designs can change without notice, and that stock may sell out.
The official online store lists the same planned September 9 start date for One Piece and Jurassic Park goods. It says full sales details will be added to the announcement page when sales begin. Online purchases may require a park-visit registration, purchase quantities may be limited per customer, and the available lineup may differ from what is sold inside the park.
Those distinctions matter for fans deciding where to shop. A September 9 online listing does not guarantee that every park item will be available remotely, while access to the physical store comes with park-entry requirements. The online store also states that quantities are limited and rejects purchases intended for resale.
Universal Studios Japan has not yet posted a complete item list or prices on its store announcement, so the confirmed information centers on the collaboration artwork, sales channels, date, and purchasing conditions. The next scheduled milestone is September 9, when the online store plans to publish further details and begin selling the collection, subject to any changes announced by the park.
