GROTESQQQUE's YOROSHIKU Girl Trailer Adds Yoko Hikasa, Riho Sugiyama, and Ayaka Ohashi

Aniplex unveiled a new trailer for GROTESQQQUE's YOROSHIKU Girl segment on September 12, introducing Yoko Hikasa, Riho Sugiyama, and Ayaka Ohashi as three additional cast members. The CloverWorks original anime film, directed by Atsushi Nishigori, is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on November 6, 2026.

The trailer enters the Queen of Butterfly game

The new footage moves into GALs TOKYO, a city where morning never comes. Girls known as Gal P gather there to enter Queen of Butterfly, shortened to QoB, a deadly game built around the fight for its title of Queen. Poyomi, voiced by Rie Kugimiya, signals the start before the trailer shifts through vehicles, weapons, and clashes among the competitors.

Stella, played by Sara Minami, enters after hearing an urban legend. The footage also puts previously announced characters into the action, including Ikumi Hasegawa as Nanashi, Saori Hayami as Hikarin, Maaya Uchida as Gorgeous MIKA, Chika Anzai as Sword, Miyu Tomita as Chiffon, Rumi Okubo as Papiko, and Kugimiya as Poyomi.

Hikasa joins the game as a car-driving contender who tears through the city and disrupts the competition. Sugiyama and Ohashi play the biker sisters Mimosa and Kava, respectively, with Mimosa identified as the older sister and Kava as the younger one. Their casting expands the group seen battling around Stella in the new preview.

The three newcomers are presented as active participants in the chase across GALs TOKYO. The clip moves among Stella's arrival, vehicles speeding through the city, and Gal P combat, establishing how the additional characters enter the competition while leaving the outcome of the fight for Queen unresolved.

The trailer uses the insert song "Tenjo no Machi," performed and written by Reol and Suisoh, with composition and arrangement by Ryosuke Tachibana. The production also named Shota Horie, Ayato Shinozaki, Tachibana, Yuyoyuppe, and Akki as contributors to the segment's songs and score.

How YOROSHIKU Girl fits the film

GROTESQQQUE is structured from three stories with different settings: A(E)LIENS, YOROSHIKU Girl, and NOCTURNE: NUIT GROTESQUE. YOROSHIKU Girl supplies the film's Gal P battle royale, while the other portions follow an alien girl's search for friends and a vampire traveling through a ruined world with three girls who survived through her bite.

The three-part format places the newly revealed cast inside one distinct corner of Nishigori and CloverWorks' larger theatrical project. For this segment, the preview emphasizes the contrast between brightly styled competitors and a lawless contest in a permanently dark city. It also centers Stella's reason for fighting, tied to a promise she mentions near the trailer's end, without resolving that thread before the film.

A television special about GROTESQQQUE is set for September 26 on TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV. A completed-film screening with cast appearances follows on October 10, ahead of the confirmed nationwide Japanese theatrical opening on November 6.
