Aniplex has set a limited Netflix Japan preview for Yoroshiku Girl, one of the three animated segments in the theatrical anthology GROTESQQQUE. The segment will be available exclusively in Japan from October 23 through November 5, 2026, before the complete film opens nationwide on November 6.

What the Netflix preview includes

The early release covers Yoroshiku Girl rather than the full GROTESQQQUE feature. Its limited window ends the day before the anthology reaches Japanese theaters, making the streaming run a tightly scheduled introduction to one part of the project.

This version also has material tied specifically to the preview period. Aniplex says viewers will be able to watch the segment together with a collaboration music video built around "Shoot Shoot Shoot," the film's opening theme by METALVERSE. That presentation is limited to this streaming window.

Yoroshiku Girl centers on girls known as Gal-P who face one another in a battle royale, with changing music shaping the action. Sara Minami leads the cast as Stella. She described the role as her first voice-acting challenge and said the story is designed to be immersive even for viewers who begin without advance knowledge of its characters or setting.

The supporting cast includes Ikumi Hasegawa, Saori Hayami, Maaya Uchida, Chika Anzai, Miyu Tomita, Rumi Okubo, Yoko Hikasa, Riho Sugiyama, Ayaka Ohashi, and Rie Kugimiya. Takahiro Miura serves as episode director, tarou2 is the character designer, and Isao Hayashi handles action direction.

How it fits into GROTESQQQUE

GROTESQQQUE is an original anime film made from three stories with separate settings: Aeliens, Yoroshiku Girl, and Nocturn: En Cette Nuit Grotesque. Atsushi Nishigori directs the overall film and is credited for its screenplay and original character concepts, while CloverWorks produces the animation.

The anthology format means the Netflix event is a preview of one component, not an early home release of the full movie. The other segments remain part of the theatrical package opening November 6. That distinction matters for anyone deciding whether the preview replaces a cinema viewing: the announced stream offers Yoroshiku Girl, while the theater release brings all three stories together.

Yoroshiku Girl also has its own creative team within the larger production. Beyond Miura, tarou2, and Hayashi, Kazuko Nakashima is credited for color design and sankaku for CGI. The segment's music-driven battle setup matches the broader film's emphasis on original songs and sharply different worlds, while keeping a distinct cast and production identity.

The wider credits list JOEN and Aniplex for planning and production, ANIMEC as distributor, and Project GTQ as the producing entity. METALVERSE's "Shoot Shoot Shoot" is the film's opening theme, while the preview pairs that song with Yoroshiku Girl footage in its collaboration video.

Netflix access is confirmed only for Japan. The confirmed next milestone is the limited preview's close on November 5, followed by GROTESQQQUE's Japanese theatrical opening on November 6.
