Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 unveiled its main trailer on June 10, revealing theme songs, three new cast members, and a July 6 premiere for the Palau diving arc.

Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 released its main trailer on June 10, confirming a July 6 premiere date. The new footage showcases the franchise's first overseas setting as the cast heads to Palau, along with fresh theme songs and three newly announced voice actors.
The main trailer previews both the opening and ending themes for the upcoming season. FUNKY MONKEY BABY'S performs the opening song "Natsuko," while Beanies the unit from MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN handles the ending theme "Hadaka no Mermaid." Both tracks accompany scenes of the Palau diving adventure, pairing the series' trademark chaotic comedy with sun-drenched tropical visuals.
The trailer also introduced three additions to the voice cast. Sayaka Ohara joins as Sayaka Kotegawa, Asami Seto voices the Chief the manager of a Palau diving shop and Aya Suzaki rounds out the newcomers as Maki. All three characters are expected to play significant roles in the Palau arc, expanding the ensemble beyond the familiar Izu University diving club.
Returning cast members include Yuma Uchida as Iori Kitahara, Ryohei Kimura as Kouhei Imamura, Chika Anzai as Chisa Kotegawa, Maya Uchida, Hiroki Yasumoto, Katsuyuki Konishi, Toa Yukinari, Kana Asumi, and Aya Yamane all reprising their established roles.
Director Shinji Takamatsu returns at the helm, also handling series composition and sound direction. Animation studio ZERO-G continues from the first two seasons, now working alongside Saber Works as a co-production partner for Season 3. The first season aired back in 2018, with Season 2 following in 2025 after a lengthy gap making this the fastest turnaround the franchise has seen.
The anime adapts the manga by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, published by Kodansha since April 2014. The series has reached 26 volumes as of April 2026, giving the production team plenty of source material for the Palau storyline and beyond.
Season 3 marks a major shift in setting as protagonist Iori Kitahara and friends leave Izu behind for the tropical waters of Palau. The overseas arc promises new diving challenges and fresh comedic dynamics, especially with the new characters tied to the local diving shop. For fans of the college comedy that has built a devoted following over the past eight years, the change of scenery could inject new energy into the series' already wild formula.
Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 premieres on July 6, 2026, at 24:00 JST. Streaming details for Indian and global audiences have not yet been confirmed.
