Eleceed TV Anime Reveals Main Cast Led by Junya Enoki in First Promo Video

The Eleceed TV anime unveiled its first promotional video and confirmed five main voice cast members, with Junya Enoki starring as protagonist Jiwoo Seo. DandeLion Animation Studio is producing the webtoon adaptation, now set for an early 2027 premiere after shifting from its originally announced 2026 schedule.

Five Main Cast Members Step Into the Spotlight

The promotional video introduced the core voice cast for the anime's Japanese-language version, giving fans their first look at the characters in motion alongside their newly announced performers. Junya Enoki takes the lead as Jiwoo Seo, referred to as Yuu Kazahaya in the Japanese localization. The character is a good-natured high school student hiding extraordinary physical abilities - including superhuman speed and cat-like reflexes - from the world around him.

Tasuku Hatanaka voices the character Wooin, localized as Jin Tatsuoka in the Japanese version, while veteran voice actress Shizuka Ito plays Jiyoung Yoo (Amane Yanagi). Hayato Dojima rounds out the younger cast as Jisuk Yoo (Sota Yanagi), and Setsuji Sato takes on the role of Dr. Delein. The character names follow the standard Japanese localization already established in the webtoon's Japanese release.

One conspicuous absence from the announcement is the voice actor for Kayden Break, arguably the series' most iconic character. The powerful Awakened agent - trapped in the body of a stray cat after going on the run from dangerous enemies - serves as Jiwoo's mentor and comedic foil throughout the story. Given Kayden's massive popularity among readers, the casting reveal for the character is expected to be a significant announcement in its own right.

Production Team and Schedule

Hiroshi Nishikiori directs the series at DandeLion Animation Studio, with Amuse Creative Studio overseeing production. Yousuke Kuroda handles series composition, Minami Sakura designed the anime's characters, and Taku Iwasaki composes the score. The production also includes a full complement of sub-character designers, animation supervisors, art directors, and CG staff to bring the webtoon's action-heavy sequences to screen.

The anime had originally been slated for a 2026 debut but has since been pushed to "the beginning of" 2027. A specific premiere month, broadcast day, or airing season has not yet been confirmed. No streaming platform has been announced for the series at this stage.
