Studio MAPPA will host a 15th anniversary presentation on June 19 featuring updates on Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, Dorohedoro, Oblivion Battery, Ranma 1/2, and a brand-new project reveal.

Studio MAPPA will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special lineup presentation streaming live on its official YouTube channel on June 19 at 20:00 JST. The event will deliver updates on six major anime projects and unveil an entirely new one.
The 15th anniversary stream covers a stacked roster of MAPPA properties. Confirmed titles receiving updates include Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man (International Assassins Arc), Attack on Titan, Dorohedoro, Oblivion Battery, and Ranma 1/2. A completely new, unannounced project will also be revealed during the broadcast, making this the studio's most ambitious single-event showcase in recent memory.
MAPPA was founded in June 2011 by Masao Maruyama after his departure from Madhouse. In the fifteen years since, the studio has grown into one of the most prolific forces in the industry, responsible for cultural phenomena ranging from Attack on Titan: The Final Season to the Jujutsu Kaisen anime adaptations and the first season of Chainsaw Man.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans have particular reason to tune in. Voice actors Junya Enoki, who plays Yuji Itadori, and Megumi Ogata, who voices Yuta Okkotsu, will appear in a dedicated segment dubbed "Juju Talk." The segment is expected to bring fresh details on the anime's continuation, which has been confirmed for 2027. The series is poised to move deeper into the Culling Game arc and toward the highly anticipated Shinjuku Showdown material from Gege Akutami's manga.
Chainsaw Man will also be a headline attraction. Following the successful Reze arc film, the next major adaptation milestone is the International Assassins Arc, one of the most action-heavy stretches of Tatsuki Fujimoto's original manga. The June 19 presentation is set to provide a substantial update on this project, potentially including a release window or first look at new footage.
The remaining four titles on the slate each carry dedicated fanbases eager for news. Dorohedoro, the surreal dark fantasy based on Q Hayashida's manga, is slated for updates that likely pertain to its anticipated third season. Attack on Titan, MAPPA's most commercially significant franchise, will receive fresh information the nature of which remains to be seen given the anime's main storyline has concluded. Oblivion Battery, the baseball-themed anime that debuted in 2024, and Ranma 1/2, the classic Rumiko Takahashi property currently streaming on Netflix, round out the confirmed lineup.
Beyond project updates, the celebration will feature an anniversary movie set to the original song "Seikatsu" (Life), written by the band PEOPLE 1 specifically for MAPPA's 15th anniversary. The studio has also announced exhibitions beginning this autumn across multiple cities in Japan, extending the anniversary festivities well beyond the June 19 broadcast.
The MAPPA 15th Anniversary Presentation streams live on MAPPA's official YouTube channel on Thursday, June 19, 2026, at 20:00 JST. For viewers in India, that translates to 4:30 PM IST on the same day. With updates on six flagship series, a brand-new project reveal, and a commemorative short film, the hour-plus event is shaping up to be one of the biggest anime showcases of the summer.
