Science SARU's Ghost in the Shell unveiled its fourth trailer on June 11 revealing the ending theme 'Blue' by MILLENNIUM PARADE featuring Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar ahead of its July 7 Prime Video premiere.

Science SARU's highly anticipated Ghost in the Shell TV anime dropped its fourth promotional trailer on June 11, revealing the ending theme "Blue" performed by MILLENNIUM PARADE and featuring vocalists Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar. The series premieres worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on July 7.
MILLENNIUM PARADE founder Daiki Tsuneta shared that work on "Blue" began roughly three years ago with Canadian-Japanese artist Saya Gray before Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar later joined the project. The collaboration brings together some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music for one of anime's most storied franchises. The fourth trailer uses the track to underscore an emotionally driven look at the inner lives of its characters, centering on full-body cyborg protagonist Motoko Kusanagi and hinting at the deep psychological drama the series intends to explore.
The new Ghost in the Shell anime is helmed by director Mokochan at Science SARU, the studio founded by Masaaki Yuasa known for its boundary-pushing visual style. Shuhei Handa serves as character designer and executive animation director, while Taisei Iwasaki handles music direction and composition alongside musicians Ryo Konishi and YUKI KANESAKA. The creative team also includes scriptwriter EnJoe Toh, art director Emi Katanosaka, sound director Yuji Tange, and logo designer Hajime Sorayama. The production is overseen by THE GHOST IN THE SHELL COMMITTEE.
Science SARU's involvement marks a fresh visual direction for the Ghost in the Shell property, which has previously been animated by Production I.G across its landmark 1995 film and Stand Alone Complex television series. The studio's reputation for fluid, inventive animation has raised expectations among fans eager to see how Masamune Shirow's cyberpunk world is reinterpreted for a new generation.
Before the worldwide streaming debut, Ghost in the Shell will make its North American premiere at Anime Expo 2026 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, running July 2 through July 5. Episodes 1 and 2 will screen on Saturday, July 4, accompanied by a staff panel and autograph sessions. The event screening gives attendees an early look at the series three days ahead of its Amazon Prime Video launch.
Amazon Prime Video holds the worldwide exclusive streaming rights for the series, covering all territories except Russia and China. For Indian viewers, the series will be available on Prime Video India from the July 7 premiere date, included as part of the standard Prime subscription.
With the ending theme now revealed and the premiere less than a month away, the promotional rollout for Ghost in the Shell is entering its final stretch. The combination of Science SARU's distinctive animation sensibility, MILLENNIUM PARADE's atmospheric music, and one of the most iconic cyberpunk properties in anime history positions the series as one of the most closely watched debuts of the summer 2026 season.
