Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle will return for its second cour on October 13, 2026, on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11 and other Japanese broadcasters. The production announced the date on September 11 alongside a second trailer, new theme-song details, and Sora Amamiya's addition to the cast.

What the new trailer reveals

The second promotional video shifts attention between two character arcs. It continues the Asuka Nishino storyline that began in the first cour, with Chika Anzai voicing Asuka, and introduces footage from an arc centered on Haru Aomi, the girls' basketball player voiced by Rumi Okubo.

Amamiya joins the series as Mai Todo, a member of the girls' basketball team at Ashiba High School. Mai is positioned as an obstacle for Haru, giving the newly previewed basketball story a clearly identified opposing player. The trailer also frames the cour around young people weighing their futures and the intensity they bring to the pursuits that matter to them.

Both new theme songs appear in the video. Cidergirl performs the opening, "Saku," after previously handling the first cour's ending theme. Aruma performs the new ending, "Doko ni mo Ikenai Mama." The announcement identifies CIDER RECORDS for the opening and Sony Music Labels for the ending.

The anime follows Saku Chitose, a socially confident student at a leading high school in Fukui. His new school year takes an unusual turn when a teacher asks him to help a student who has withdrawn to his room. The story uses that assignment as the starting point for Saku's relationships with his classmates and their individual concerns.

The returning ensemble includes Shogo Sakata as Saku, Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi, Hina Youmiya as Yua Uchida, Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase, Okubo as Haru, and Anzai as Asuka. Amamiya's Mai expands that established cast for the basketball-focused material shown in the latest video.

The returning production is based on Hiromu's light novels, illustrated by raemz and published through Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint. Yuji Tokuno directs, Naruhisa Arakawa oversees series composition, and Hiromu and Arakawa are credited for scripts. Sumie Kinoshita handles character designs, while feel. produces the animation.

Broadcast schedule and the next preview

AT-X will carry new episodes on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. in Japan, with repeat broadcasts on Thursdays at 11 a.m. and Mondays at 5 p.m. Tokyo MX, BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto are scheduled for Wednesdays at 12:30 a.m. Fukui Broadcasting follows at 12:59 a.m., while TV Aichi airs the series at 2:05 a.m., while TV Aichi airs the series at 2:05 a.m. Broadcast times remain subject to change.

A recap designated Episode 13.5 is scheduled for the week before the second cour starts. That gives viewers a televised refresher before Episode 14 resumes the story, rather than placing a standard new episode in that slot.

The production has also set an advance screening of Episodes 14 and 15 for September 25 at the Science Museum Science Hall in Tokyo. Shogo Sakata, who voices Saku Chitose, and Chika Anzai are scheduled for the accompanying cast talk. General ticket sales begin at noon in Japan on September 14.

The September 25 screening is the next confirmed milestone. The wider television return follows on October 13, with the new trailer now establishing its Asuka and Haru material, added cast role, and two theme songs.
