Berserk chapter 384 arrives June 12 in Young Animal, followed by chapters 385 and 386 on June 26 and July 10, marking the series' first three consecutive releases in 14 years.

Young Animal magazine has confirmed that Berserk chapter 384 will release on June 12, 2026, ending a nine-month hiatus since chapter 383 landed in September 2025. The issue will be the first of three consecutive Berserk installments a feat the manga has not achieved in 14 years.
Young Animal is a biweekly publication, meaning each new issue arrives every two weeks. Following chapter 384 on June 12, chapter 385 is set for June 26, and chapter 386 will close the run on July 10. That gives readers three new Berserk chapters across three consecutive magazine issues in roughly a month's span.
The last time Berserk managed three back-to-back releases was during the "Spring in the Distant Days" mini-arc, when chapters 329 through 331 ran across three consecutive Young Animal issues from June 8 to July 13, 2012. Fans of the notoriously irregular series have long grown accustomed to multi-month gaps between chapters, so a triple-issue commitment represents a meaningful acceleration in output.
Berserk is currently deep in the Fantasia arc's Eastern Exile section. Chapter 383 took readers through an internal, psychological journey for Guts rather than outright combat. The protagonist finds himself imprisoned by the oracle Daiba inside a shrine, following Griffith's kidnapping of Casca at Elfhelm. The preview text for chapter 384 teases the question: "What will Guts see in the darkness after being sealed in the shrine?"
The shift toward introspection in the most recent chapter titled "Anadi Avidya," evoking spiritual and philosophical themes suggests that writer Kouji Mori and Studio Gaga are steering the narrative through Guts' psyche before what could be a pivotal confrontation.
Kentaro Miura, the legendary creator of Berserk, passed away in May 2021 after serializing the manga since 1989. His close friend Kouji Mori took over writing duties, while Miura's longtime assistants at Studio Gaga handle the artwork. The team has previously acknowledged the difficulty of faithfully reproducing Berserk to the standard Miura established, which partly explains the careful, unhurried publication schedule.
Despite the irregular output, the series' reputation has only grown. With over 70 million copies in circulation and 43 compiled volumes, Berserk remains one of the most acclaimed seinen manga ever published. The three-chapter commitment signals a period of sustained momentum from the continuation team and may hint at increased confidence in the workflow Mori and Studio Gaga have developed over the past five years.
Unlike many manga serialized in mainstream jump-style magazines, Berserk's publisher Hakusensha does not offer free chapter previews online. Readers can access new chapters through Amazon Kindle, Bookwalker, Dark Horse Digital Comics, or physical editions. The three upcoming chapters will appear first in Young Animal issues #12, #13, and #14 before eventual compilation into the series' next collected volume.
