Witch Hat Atelier adds four new cast members as the Knights Moralis, with Junichi Suwabe, Yui Ishikawa, Jun Kasama, and Hiroki Yasumoto debuting in episodes 7 and 8.

The Witch Hat Atelier anime has revealed four new cast members joining the series as the Knights Moralis, the enigmatic enforcers of magical law in the world created by Kamome Shirahama. The characters will make their debut across episodes 7 and 8, airing on May 18 and May 25 respectively.
The newly announced voice actors and their roles are:
Junichi Suwabe as Easthies
Yui Ishikawa as Luluci
Jun Kasama as Utowin
Hiroki Yasumoto as Galga
Suwabe is widely recognized for voicing Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen and Aizawa in My Hero Academia, while Ishikawa is best known as Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan. Yasumoto has lent his deep baritone to characters like Germany in Hetalia and Sado in Bleach, and Kasama brings a growing resume of supporting roles to the ensemble.
In Shirahama's manga, the Knights Moralis serve as the watchdogs of the magical world, tasked with policing witches who break the sacred rules governing spell use. Their arrival in the anime marks a tonal shift as protagonist Coco and her fellow apprentices encounter the darker side of magic's governing order. The Knights bring moral complexity to a story already celebrated for its layered world-building and intricate art.
The Witch Hat Atelier anime is directed by Ayumu Watanabe and produced by studio BUG FILMS. The series premiered on April 6 on Tokyo MX and is streaming globally on Crunchyroll with a simultaneous English dub. Indian viewers can access the series through Crunchyroll's platform.
Shirahama's original manga, serialized in Kodansha's Morning Two magazine, has surpassed 7 million copies in circulation worldwide. The series has earned critical recognition internationally, including Harvey Awards in 2020 and 2025.
With the Knights Moralis entering the picture in episode 7 on May 18, the anime is set to shift into a more tension-driven arc. Their role as enforcers who can strip witches of their memories and abilities introduces genuine stakes for Coco and her peers, raising the emotional tension beyond the apprenticeship storylines that defined the first half of the series.
The addition of heavyweight voice talent like Suwabe and Ishikawa signals that BUG FILMS is investing serious star power in the adaptation's second act. Suwabe in particular brings a commanding presence well suited to Easthies, a character whose authority and moral rigidity create friction with the young protagonists. Ishikawa's Luluci adds another dimension, balancing the group's imposing presence with a more measured and perceptive approach to enforcement.
Episode 7 airs on May 18 with episode 8 following one week later on May 25, both streaming simultaneously on Crunchyroll worldwide.
