Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Launches With Same-Day English Dub on Crunchyroll
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 premiered on July 4 with a same-day English dub on Crunchyroll, featuring returning cast members Brandon Johnson, Caitlin Glass, and Sarah Wiedenheft.

Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 premiered on July 4 under new production house Aura Studio, with Crunchyroll delivering a same-day English dub for global audiences. The isekai adventure picks up where its 2022 first season left off, bringing back the armored skeleton knight Arc and his growing party of allies.
Returning English Dub Cast
The English dub features several familiar voices reprising their roles from Season 1. Brandon Johnson returns as Arc, the overpowered gamer trapped in his avatar's skeletal body. Caitlin Glass is back as the elven warrior Ariane Glenys Maple, while Sarah Wiedenheft reprises her role as the ninja cat-person Chiyome. Emi Lo also returns to voice the fluffy fox companion Ponta.
Joining them for the new season are Alex Hom and Jason Douglas, cast as the Arc Imposter and Ariane Imposter respectively - hinting at some intriguing narrative developments involving doppelgangers of the main duo. Additional English cast members include Kristen McGuire, James Cheek, Danielle Phillips, and Alexis Tipton in supporting roles.
Production Team and Studio Shift
Season 2 marks a notable studio change, moving from Studio Kai and HORNETS - who co-produced the first season - to Aura Studio. Despite the production shift, key creative staff have carried over. Director Katsumi Ono returns at the helm, and character designer Toru Imanishi is back to maintain visual continuity with the established designs.
The most significant staff change is the arrival of Toshizo Nemoto as the new series composer, replacing Takeshi Kikuchi from Season 1. Nemoto takes on the task of adapting Ennki Hakari's light novel source material for the show's second arc.
On the English dub production side, Jason Lord serves as voice director. Justin Cook, Michael Harcourt, and Nathanael Harrison are credited as studio producers. The adaptation writing team consists of Macy Anne Johnson, Tyler Walker, and Clayton Browning.
Theme Songs and Broadcast Details
The new season features fresh musical bookends. PelleK performs the opening theme "Roman Kaido, Osanpo Chu," while the vocal group DIALOGUE+ handles the ending theme "Kiseki wa Okinai." DIALOGUE+ is no stranger to anime theme work, having contributed songs to multiple productions in recent years.
In Japan, the series airs on AT-X with a Friday evening timeslot at 8:30 p.m. JST, alongside broadcasts on Tokyo MX, BS11, and Sun TV. International viewers can stream every episode on Crunchyroll, with both the original Japanese audio and the English dub available on the same day as the Japanese broadcast.
What Lies Ahead for Arc's Journey
The first season covered Arc's initial adventures in a fantasy world rife with slavery and political intrigue, culminating in his alliance with the elves and beastpeople. Season 2 appears poised to expand the scope of the story, with the introduction of imposter characters suggesting a new layer of conflict beyond the straightforward monster-slaying and liberation arcs that defined the debut run.
Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 is now streaming on Crunchyroll with new episodes airing weekly. Both the Japanese broadcast with subtitles and the English dub are available simultaneously on the platform.
