Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 unveiled its first teaser trailer at Anime Expo 2026, confirming a January 2027 premiere covering the Tri-Magicathalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc.

Aniplex revealed the first teaser trailer for Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 during its industry panel at Anime Expo on July 2, 2026. The third season will premiere in January 2027 and adapt the Tri-Magicathalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, the manga's climactic storyline.
The teaser offers a first look at the final exam arc, which pits Mash Burnedead and his allies against the highest-level challenges in their quest for the coveted Divine Visionary title. While the trailer keeps its cards close, it establishes the heightened stakes that define Hajime Komoto's endgame for the series. Previously released teaser visuals had already hinted at the appearance of Domina Blowelive, a key figure in this arc.
A-1 Pictures returns as the animation studio, with director Tomoya Tanaka once again at the helm. Yosuke Kuroda continues handling series composition, and Masaru Yokoyama reprises his role as composer. Satoshi Motoyama returns for sound direction.
The most notable staff change is the character designer. Chiaki Furuzumi steps into the role, replacing Hisashi Higashijima, who handled character designs for the first two seasons. How Furuzumi's style meshes with the series' distinctive blend of action and deadpan comedy will be one of the things fans watch closely when new footage surfaces.
The core voice cast is confirmed to return for Season 3:
Chiaki Kobayashi as Mash Burnedead
Kaito Ishikawa as Lance Crown
Reiji Kawashima as Finn Ames
Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine
Takuya Eguchi as Dot Barrett
Additional cast announcements covering new characters introduced in the final exam arc are expected in the months leading up to the January premiere.
Komoto's original manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in January 2020, concluded its run in July 2023. The anime has tracked the source material closely across its first two seasons, each running twelve episodes. Season 1 wrapped in June 2023, and Season 2 aired during the Winter 2024 season. With the manga complete, Season 3 is positioned to bring the story to its definitive conclusion on screen, potentially making the anime a full adaptation of the source material.
The manga is licensed in English by VIZ Media and is also available to read on Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform.
Crunchyroll streamed both previous seasons of Mashle with English subtitles and dubs. While streaming details for Season 3 have not been formally announced, the series' existing relationship with the platform makes a return likely. A formal streaming confirmation is expected closer to the January 2027 window.
With the first trailer now public, the promotional cycle for Mashle Season 3 is officially underway. Fans can expect additional cast reveals, a full-length trailer, and theme song announcements in the second half of 2026 as the premiere approaches.
