The live-action Blue Lock film has cast &TEAM's K as Seishiro Nagi, Keito Tsuna as Reo Mikage, and Kohei Higuchi as Zantetsu Tsurugi, rounding out Team V ahead of the August 7 theatrical debut.

The live-action Blue Lock film has filled out one of its most-anticipated line-ups. A new cast video released on the official film site on Friday confirmed the three actors playing Team V's ace trio: Kohei Higuchi as Zantetsu Tsurugi, &TEAM member K as Seishiro Nagi, and Keito Tsuna as Reo Mikage. The movie opens in Japanese theatres on August 7, 2026.
In Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura's manga, Team V is the squad that crashes into the Blue Lock selection arc as a wall of raw scoring talent, with Nagi's ball-control genius, Reo's midfield engine, and Zantetsu's blistering speed forming the spine of the unit. Getting all three actors locked in was the last major casting gap for the film's tournament storyline, and the new video presents each of them in character look alongside the previously announced Blue Lock candidates.
K, a vocalist with HYBE Labels Japan's group &TEAM, takes on the franchise's breakout fan-favourite in Nagi, the laconic prodigy who only picks up a football because Reo drags him to it. Keito Tsuna plays Reo himself, the wealthy forward whose obsession with Nagi drives much of the team's early arc. Kohei Higuchi rounds out the trio as Zantetsu, the speedster with a one-note but devastating play style.
The live-action adaptation is directed by Yusuke Taki, with a screenplay by Tetsuo Kamata and production by CREDEUS. Toho is handling theatrical distribution in Japan. Fumiya Takahashi leads the ensemble as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, with Kaito Sakurai as Meguru Bachira and Masataka Kubota playing Blue Lock architect Jinpachi Ego. The film was showcased to international buyers at the European Film Market earlier this year as Toho expands its sales push for the title.
With the Team V reveal, the production has now publicly named actors for essentially every major striker Isagi faces in the opening stretch of the selection arc, leaving the remaining supporting coaches and rival-team members as the final pieces yet to be unveiled.
Nagi and Reo are two of the most merchandised characters in the Blue Lock franchise, anchoring their own spin-off manga and animated feature, so their live-action casting was always going to be the headline test of the film's commercial pitch. K's involvement also threads the production into &TEAM's sizeable pan-Asian fanbase, a built-in audience the marketing is clearly leaning on: the reveal video was timed for a Friday evening drop in Japan, the same window &TEAM typically uses for music releases.
Zantetsu, meanwhile, is a comparatively smaller role in terms of on-page time, but the character's speed-based set pieces are among the storyboard highlights the director has previously flagged as a visual priority for the film.
No Indian theatrical or streaming partner has been announced for the live-action Blue Lock film. The TV anime's first season streams on Crunchyroll in India, and the franchise's animated Nagi spin-off film reached Indian audiences through the same platform, so a post-theatrical streaming window remains the most plausible route for viewers in the country to catch the live-action release after its Japan run.
For now, the confirmed line-up sets up a full-cast trailer and a promotional tour in the weeks leading up to the August 7 opening.
