Gacha Girls Corps Adds Ai Kayano and Rie Kugimiya to Its Anime Cast
Ai Kayano will voice Shisuha Alvy and Rie Kugimiya will play Luna Varades in the Gacha Girls Corps TV anime premiering in January 2027.

The Gacha Girls Corps TV anime added Ai Kayano and Rie Kugimiya to its cast on August 23, with Kayano playing Shisuha Alvy and Kugimiya voicing Luna Varades. The fantasy adaptation is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2027.
What the two characters add
Shisuha is a UR priest responsible for healing the party, although her official profile makes clear that she does not behave like a typical back-line support character. Once a battle begins, she tends to charge toward the front and fight with an almost reckless intensity. Her eccentric behavior also gives her a habit of teasing protagonist Heihachi Okura, setting up a contrast between her gentle appearance and her much less restrained personality.
Kayano's official comment leans into that contrast. She recalled initially feeling pleased to receive the role of a kind-looking older-sister type, then realizing that judging Shisuha by her appearance was a mistake. She encouraged viewers to discover the character's true nature when the anime airs.
Luna is described as a UR vampire with overwhelming combat strength and abilities that place her among the group's strongest members. At the same time, she is an extreme homebody who dislikes going on adventures. Her powerful skills also leave her craving blood, adding a dangerous element to the gap between her capability and her reluctance to leave home.
Kugimiya said Luna shows many different expressions and has a straightforward side. She also highlighted the fun of exploring the character's possibilities in performance and seeing how Luna forms relationships with the rest of the cast.
The wider party and production
The newly announced performers join Daisuke Sakaguchi as Heihachi, Miyu Tomita as Norl Fanya, and Iori Noguchi of =LOVE as Estel. Together, the characters form the early core of a party built around Heihachi's unusual ability to summon allies through a mobile game's gacha system after he is transported to another world.
The anime adapts Chinkururi's light novel series, illustrated by Yasutaka Isekawa, as well as its manga version by Syuu Haruno. The story follows Heihachi, an avid mobile game player who pulls a rare item called an Invitation to Another World. Stranded in a fantasy setting, he must rely on his phone and the powerful girls brought to life from his game units while searching for a path home.
The anime adaptation was first announced in May 2025, with the January 2027 broadcast window confirmed in June 2026 before the production began expanding its public character and staff details.
Takashi Asami is directing, with Masahiro Takata serving as chief director and Deko Akao handling series composition. ZERO-G and Saber Works are producing the animation. The official staff list also credits Minewo Suzuki as character designer and chief animation director, with Hiroaki Tsutsumi and George King composing the music.
The cast reveal gives Shisuha and Luna confirmed voices before the broadcast begins. The next announced milestone remains the anime's January 2027 television premiere in Japan.
