Talia Yang is the first female lead revealed for the new season and completes the quartet of protagonists driving the story forward. Raised in Night City's corporate towers, Talia's life took a violent turn after crossing paths with the Maelstrom gang. She has since fully embraced their brutal lifestyle and obsession with heavy chrome, making her fiercely independent and steeped in hyperviolent culture.
Her reveal follows the earlier introductions of the other three main characters: Weak Kingsley, D a revenge-driven netrunner and Roman Carax, a young cinephile navigating Night City's ruthless underworld. Together, the four form a completely new crew unconnected to the original season's David Martinez and Lucy storyline.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has been described as a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge set within the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
