Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Releases Final Trailer Ahead of Last Two Episodes
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War released its last promotional video before The Calamity concludes with two Japanese broadcasts on October 19 and 26.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War released its "THE LAST PV" on October 16, setting up the final two episodes of The Calamity. The anime's concluding installments are scheduled to air on TV Tokyo affiliates in Japan at 24:00 JST on October 19 and October 26.
What the final trailer shows
The video is designed as both a recap and a final-stage preview. Its opening half condenses the path that brought Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach to their decisive confrontation, drawing together images from the Thousand-Year Blood War story before shifting toward the conflict still ahead.
The latter half focuses on the situation established in Episode 48, "THE END TWO WORLD." Yhwach has appeared across the Soul Society, the Human World, and Hueco Mundo, and the trailer cuts among the battles unfolding in those three realms. That structure gives the promotional video a broad view of the climax rather than limiting it to a single matchup.
The transition between recap footage and climax material establishes what viewers need to remember before the series returns. Ichigo and Yhwach remain at the center, but the images from all three realms underline that the conflict is unfolding on several fronts. The trailer therefore functions as a compact bridge from the wider war to the last confrontation.
Calling the video "THE LAST PV" also gives it a clear place in the campaign for The Calamity. It is the final promotional video released before the last two televised episodes, not simply another seasonal trailer. The official anime website posted the announcement on October 16, only days before Episode 49's Japanese broadcast.
The trailer naturally contains material from the closing stretch, so viewers who are not current with the anime should expect visible story developments from Episode 48 and the setup for the final confrontation. Its main purpose is to bridge the latest episode and the two-part conclusion.
When the last two episodes air
Episode 49 is scheduled for 24:00 JST on October 19 on TV Tokyo affiliates. Episode 50, identified as the series finale, follows at 24:00 JST on October 26.The two dates place the conclusion across consecutive Monday late-night broadcasts in Japan.
A related event is also set for the day before the finale. United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo will host a marathon screening and talk event for The Calamity on October 25. Masakazu Morita, the voice of Ichigo Kurosaki, and Noriaki Sugiyama, the voice of Uryu Ishida, are among the announced guests.
That event provides one more confirmed stop between the trailer's release and the final broadcast. It also places the voice cast members behind Ichigo and Uryu at a public event immediately before the finale.
The end of a four-part adaptation
Thousand-Year Blood War has been presented as a four-cour television project. Its first cour aired from October through December 2022, followed by the second from July through September 2023 and the third from October through December 2024. The Calamity is the fourth and final cour.
The adaptation covers the final arc of Tite Kubo's Bleach manga, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016. It also completes an anime journey that began with the earlier television series in 2004. That original run ended in 2012, leaving the manga's last major arc without a television adaptation until Thousand-Year Blood War began a decade later.
The franchise's screen history also includes four theatrical anime films and a live-action film released in 2018. Those projects expanded Bleach beyond its original television run, but Thousand-Year Blood War is the production built specifically around adapting the manga's concluding arc.
With the final trailer now public, the next confirmed milestone is Episode 49's October 19 broadcast in Japan. Episode 50 follows one week later on October 26, completing The Calamity and the Thousand-Year Blood War television project.
