Yen Press revealed eight new manga titles at Sakura-Con, headlined by works from the creators of Delicious in Dungeon and Fruits Basket, all set for October 2026.

Yen Press announced eight new manga licenses at Sakura-Con 2026 on April 4, headlined by new works from Ryōko Kui, the creator of Delicious in Dungeon, and Natsuki Takaya, the creator of Fruits Basket. All eight titles are scheduled for October 2026 release in English.
The Dragon School is Atop the Mountain by Ryōko Kui is a collection of fantastical short stories where extraordinary events blend into ordinary life. Kui's Delicious in Dungeon became one of the most celebrated manga-to-anime adaptations in recent memory, and any new work from her carries immediate interest from both manga readers and anime fans hoping for future adaptations.
In Such a Small World by Natsuki Takaya is a love story that develops gradually through everyday moments between neighbors. Takaya's Fruits Basket remains one of the best-selling shojo manga of all time, and her return to serialized romance marks a significant moment for fans of character-driven storytelling.
The remaining six titles span fantasy, gaming adaptations, horror, and historical fiction:
Fate Rewinder: All Great Feats Require Time by Fūta Kimura an organization uses time-manipulation technology to rescue people from tragic destinies
Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver by Tsuta Suzuki set in 1991 Tokyo, seven mages summon legendary heroes to battle for the Holy Grail
Elden Ring: Become Lord by Tegekiken a full-color retelling set in the world of FromSoftware's acclaimed video game
Non and Akari by Neruko Nichinichi a girl befriends a cursed doll who wants to stay together forever
Meiji-Era Master-and-Servant Tungsten by Mio Tatsumoto an engineer and his attendant navigate Japan's electrical revolution
How to Keep a Human by Pieta demons discover that humans make surprisingly adorable pets despite their fragility
The October 2026 lineup reflects Yen Press's strategy of mixing established franchise extensions with original works across genres. The Fate and Elden Ring licenses tap into gaming-adjacent fandoms with built-in audiences, while titles like How to Keep a Human and Non and Akari target readers looking for genre-bending standalone stories.
Yen Press made the announcements during its industry panel at Sakura-Con in Seattle, one of the Pacific Northwest's largest anime conventions. The October 2026 release window gives manga readers several months of anticipation before the titles hit shelves, and the presence of two legendary creators in Kui and Takaya ensures that the lineup will draw attention well beyond Yen Press's existing readership.
