Crunchyroll will begin streaming an English dub for The Beginning After the End Season 2 on Wednesday, April 15. Amber May voices Arthur, the series' reincarnated protagonist, with Christopher Wehkamp returning as Grey and Colleen Clinkenbeard reprising Alice. Sarah Wiedenheft joins as Jasmine. Jonathan Rigg is directing the dub, Samantha Herek is producing, and Heather Walker is handling adaptation.
New dubbed episodes release Wednesdays at 9:15 a.m. PT / 12:15 p.m. ET on Crunchyroll. The third overall episode of the season drops alongside the dub's April 15 launch, with subtitled episodes already live from the March cour start. The season carries 12 episodes in total.
The anime broadcasts on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block in Japan and streams on Crunchyroll as episodes release domestically. Season 1 streamed on Crunchyroll worldwide except for most of Asia, with India explicitly included in the carriage. The Season 2 regional map is expected to mirror that pattern, which keeps the series available to Indian subscribers day-and-date with the Japanese broadcast.
The Beginning After the End is based on TurtleMe's web novel, serialized on Tapas and collected in print through Yen Press's novel line. The story follows King Grey, a politically isolated monarch assassinated at the height of his power, who is reincarnated into a new magical world as the infant Arthur Leywin. The first season, which aired in 2025, adapted the early Dicathen arc; Season 2 is expected to cover the Xyrus Academy material.
The anime production is by A-Cat, a studio division of Crunchyroll's broader animation partnership. The studio's credits and specific episode directors per season have not been centrally published.
Crunchyroll has been stacking same-week or near-same-week dubs for its top Spring 2026 titles, including Witch Hat Atelier, Re:Zero Season 4, and Agents of the Four Seasons. The Beginning After the End Season 2's dub follows that pattern, arriving two weeks after the Japanese broadcast start rather than at season's mid-point, as was common in earlier years.
Whether the dub maintains a weekly cadence or catches up to the subbed schedule over the coming weeks will depend on how much of the season is pre-recorded at A-Cat's partnered dub studio. With 12 episodes to ship, an April 15 start gives the dub roughly a 10-week runway to track alongside the Japanese broadcast.
The India carriage on Crunchyroll means subscribers there can access both the subbed and dubbed versions through the standard subscription tier. Indian audiences that followed Season 1's dub through the platform will see the continuity carry over with Wehkamp and Clinkenbeard returning to their earlier roles.
