Re:Zero Season 4 debuts on Crunchyroll on April 8 with a 19-episode run split between the Loss Arc and the Recapture Arc.

Re:Zero Season 4 premieres on Crunchyroll on April 8, kicking off a 19-episode season split across two arcs. The Loss Arc runs for 11 episodes starting this week, followed by the Recapture Arc's 8 episodes beginning August 12. It is the most structurally ambitious season the franchise has attempted.
Season 4 picks up directly after the devastating events of Season 3. Subaru must find a way to save Rem, who remains trapped in an unending sleep after having her existence consumed by the Authority of Gluttony. His search leads to the Pleiades Watchtower, a desert fortress so formidable that even the legendary knight Reinhard could not conquer it. Inside the tower, Subaru and his allies seek the all-knowing sage Shaula, who may hold the key to restoring what was lost.
Original creator Tappei Nagatsuki serves as scenario supervisor, maintaining direct oversight of how his light novel source material is adapted for the screen.
White Fox returns as the animation studio with director Masahiro Shinohara at the helm. The main cast is back: Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, and Inori Minase reprising her role as Rem, whose story finally moves forward after being sidelined for much of the previous seasons.
The opening theme "Recollect" is performed by Konomi Suzuki featuring Ashnikko, a collaboration that bridges Suzuki's long association with the Re:Zero franchise and Ashnikko's international following. The ending theme "Ender Ember" brings together MYTH & ROID and TK from Ling tosite sigure, two acts known for their work on anime properties with darker tonal registers.
The split-cour format gives the production team time between the Loss Arc's spring run and the Recapture Arc's summer continuation. The 19-episode count also represents a step up from Season 3, which ran for a standard 12-to-13 episode block. The expanded episode order suggests the adaptation is covering substantial ground in the light novel series.
Crunchyroll streams Re:Zero Season 4 exclusively, with new episodes available shortly after the Japanese broadcast. Indian viewers with Crunchyroll subscriptions can watch from day one as the series joins an already packed Spring 2026 lineup on the platform.
Re:Zero has built one of the most dedicated fanbases in the isekai genre since its debut in 2016, and the anticipation for Season 4 has been intense. The confirmation that Rem's story will finally move forward after multiple seasons of sidelining is a direct response to one of the community's longest-running requests. With 19 episodes and two distinct arcs, Season 4 has the space to deliver on that promise while advancing the broader narrative toward its next major turning point.
