From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman will continue with a third television season. The production decision was announced in Japan after the second season's final episode aired on September 23 in TV Asahi's IMAnimation W programming block, confirming that Beryl Gardenant's anime story is not ending with Season 2.

The anime's official team confirmed that Season 3 is in production and released a newly drawn illustration for the occasion. The image shows Beryl walking at an unhurried pace through Beaden Village, returning the focus to the rural home associated with the swordsman before his duties carried him into a much larger world.

A celebratory video from Hiroaki Hirata, the Japanese voice of Beryl, also accompanied the announcement. Hirata welcomed the continuation and jokingly proposed that everyone should get a monologue in the third season. His appearance makes Beryl the center of the first promotional material, but the announcement itself does not provide a premiere date, broadcast window, episode count, returning staff, studio lineup, or complete cast list.

That limited reveal makes the production confirmation the main news. It establishes that another season is moving forward without yet showing footage or identifying which part of the source material it will adapt. Passione and Hayabusa Film handled animation production for the second season, with Akio Kazumi directing and Kunihiko Okada overseeing series composition. Satsuki Hayasaka served as character designer and chief animation director, while Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music.
