Mononoke Movie 3: Snake God Streams Special Trailer Ahead of May 29 Japan Premiere

Twin Engine has unveiled a special trailer for Mononoke the Movie: Chapter 3 Snake God, the concluding chapter of the supernatural horror film trilogy. The film opens in Japanese theaters on May 29 with Studio Kafka and EOTA handling animation production.

A Final Confrontation in the Inner Palace

The special trailer blends footage from the previous two films with new scenes from Snake God, showcasing the franchise's distinctive horror atmosphere. Set in the imperial harem known as the Ooku, the story picks up after the death of Empress Sachiko, as a giant snake-shaped Mononoke emerges to terrorize the inner palace. Kenji Nakamura returns as general director with Tomoaki Koshida directing. Yasumi Atarashi penned the script, Kitsuneko Nagata designed the characters, and Taku Iwasaki composed the score.
