Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi began streaming April 12 on Rakuten Viki, OceanVeil, ADN, and the It's Anime YouTube channel, covering North America, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania on launch day.

Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi's international streaming window opened on April 12, with Japanese distributor REMOW placing the cozy slice-of-life anime on four separate platforms. The episode-one release covers North America, Latin America, Europe, Oceania, and several Asia-Pacific territories simultaneously, a wider first-day reach than most spring 2026 slice-of-life debuts.
Rakuten Viki holds the broadest region: the United States, Guam, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. OceanVeil, the newer North American anime service, covers the United States and Canada. ADN handles French and German-speaking European territories. It's Anime, the free YouTube channel, receives episodes a week after the paid services. Territory-by-territory availability varies, and some regions are restricted to a single platform rather than the full four-service lineup.
None of the four platforms currently serves India. REMOW has not confirmed whether a separate South Asia rollout is planned; based on the publisher's previous handling of smaller slice-of-life titles, an Indian distribution window typically opens one to two cours after the Japanese broadcast if international viewership data supports it.
The anime adapts the original web manga of the same name and follows a cast of residents sharing a cramped one-tatami apartment building. ABC TV, TV Asahi, and 22 affiliate channels began airing the series at 26:00 JST on April 11 technically 2:00 a.m. on April 12 alongside a BS NTV late-night block. The cozy-comedy tone sits in the same programming lane as other REMOW titles licensed globally over the past two years.
The opening theme "Ciao Ciao" is performed by idol group Sophià la Mode. The ending theme, "Yawayawa Nerd Chō FreQuency," is sung by the BanG Dream! franchise's Mugendai Mewtype band an unusual crossover placement that has drawn early community attention for bringing a music-anime act into a slice-of-life ending slot.
Rakuten Viki, OceanVeil, and ADN air each new episode shortly after its Japanese late-night broadcast. The It's Anime YouTube channel follows one week behind on its free tier. Closed captioning is available in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese on the paid services at launch, with Japanese and Korean subtitle tracks expected within the first cour.
Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi is one of the first spring 2026 anime to open with a four-platform international launch on day one, a distribution model larger Japanese producers have increasingly pushed onto their mid-budget slice-of-life output. Whether the strategy pays off for REMOW will show up in the renewal decisions for the same programming block next year.
