The final cour of Dr Stone has begun with Science Future Part 3 premiering on April 2 as Senku and the Kingdom of Science head to the Moon.

The final stretch of Dr. Stone has begun. Science Future Part 3, the third and last cour of the anime's fourth season, premiered on April 2, 2026, launching the Moon Mission Arc that will bring the entire series to its conclusion. After years of rebuilding civilization from scratch in a post-petrification world, Senku Ishigami and the Kingdom of Science are heading to space.
Part 3 adapts the remaining arcs of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's manga, covering approximately 34 chapters across what is estimated to be around 12 episodes. The story follows the Kingdom of Science as they construct a rocket capable of reaching the Moon, where the mysterious entity known as Why-man is believed to reside. The journey involves recruiting new allies across multiple continents and developing technology that leaps from primitive foundations to space-age engineering.
A key new addition to the cast this cour is Sai Nanami, a mathematical genius and half-brother of the seafaring Ryuusui Nanami. Sai is voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita, joining the returning core cast led by Yuusuke Kobayashi as Senku and Kengo Kawanishi as Gen Asagiri.
TMS Entertainment continues as the animation studio for the final cour. New episodes air every Thursday at 10:00 PM JST on Tokyo MX in Japan, with simulcast streaming available on Crunchyroll within an hour of the Japanese broadcast. The series is accessible on Crunchyroll across North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia.
An English dub is also in production, with dubbed episodes now streaming on Crunchyroll alongside the subtitled version.
Dr. Stone first premiered as an anime in July 2019, adapting the manga that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2017 to 2022. The fourth and final season was split into three separate cours to accommodate the remaining story material, with Part 1 and Part 2 having aired previously. Part 3 marks the definitive conclusion of the anime adaptation, closing out one of Shonen Jump's most distinctive recent franchises.
The series has earned consistent praise throughout its run for its unique premise of rebuilding human civilization through the power of science, blending genuinely educational content about chemistry, physics, and engineering with shonen adventure storytelling. The Moon Mission Arc represents the culmination of every technological leap Senku and his allies have achieved since waking up in a stone world, making it a fitting conclusion for a show built on the idea that science can solve anything.
For fans who have followed the Kingdom of Science from stone tools to spacecraft, the final cour is the payoff that the entire series has been building toward.
