The Ryoko Kui Exhibition featuring original Delicious in Dungeon artwork and three of her earlier manga series opens at Art Share L.A. on July 2 for a nearly month-long run.

The Ryoko Kui Exhibition is heading to Los Angeles this summer, running from July 2 through July 26 at Art Share L.A. in the city's Arts District. Presented by Kadokawa World Entertainment, the showcase spotlights the creator behind Delicious in Dungeon and arrives just in time for Anime Expo 2026 week.
While Delicious in Dungeon is the headline attraction, the exhibition spans Ryoko Kui's broader body of work. Reproduced artwork from three of her earlier manga series will also be on display: The Dragon's School Is on Top of the Mountain (2011), Seven Little Sons of the Dragon (2012), and Terrarium in Drawer (2013). Together, the pieces chart Kui's artistic evolution from her early short-form works through the sprawling dungeon-crawler epic that made her an international name.
Beyond gallery prints, attendees can explore rough concept sketches, original creation materials, and a long-form interview with Kui herself. Time-lapse footage of her illustration process will play at the venue, offering a rare look at the technique behind her detailed food illustrations and creature designs.
The Los Angeles stop introduces new exhibition features that were not part of earlier tour dates. Interactive photo spots let visitors pose alongside recreated dungeon creatures and the series' iconic food replicas a fitting touch for a franchise built around the question of what fantasy monsters taste like.
Imported official merchandise will be available on-site, and bundled ticket packages include exclusive collector items that can only be obtained through the exhibition itself. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with bundled options for fans who want the full package.
The Ryoko Kui Exhibition originally debuted in Tokyo in 2024 and subsequently toured multiple Japanese cities. It expanded internationally with stops in Malaysia in 2025 and then New York City, where it ran from October 10 through October 26, 2025. Los Angeles marks the exhibition's second North American venue and its latest international stop, reflecting the global surge in Delicious in Dungeon's popularity following its anime adaptation by Studio TRIGGER.
The July 2 opening places the exhibition squarely in the orbit of Anime Expo 2026, which draws tens of thousands of anime fans to the Los Angeles Convention Center each year during the same window. While the exhibition and convention are separate events, the scheduling overlap makes the Kui showcase an easy add-on for out-of-town attendees already planning trips to L.A. for the convention.
Art Share L.A. is located at 801 E 4th Place in the Arts District, a short distance from downtown and accessible from the convention center area. The exhibition's nearly month-long run through July 26 also means local fans who skip Anime Expo can visit on their own schedule.
With the anime's first season having wrapped to widespread acclaim and anticipation building for what comes next from the franchise, the exhibition offers a tangible way for fans to engage with Kui's art beyond the screen. The inclusion of her lesser-known early works adds depth for readers already familiar with Delicious in Dungeon and serves as an introduction to the range of her storytelling for newcomers. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite for those looking to secure a spot during what is likely to be a high-demand opening week.
