Crunchyroll brings its biggest-ever India activation to Mumbai Comic Con on May 9-10, headlined by Solo Leveling voice actor Taito Ban and A-1 Pictures producer Atsushi Kaneko.

Crunchyroll will stage its largest-ever India presence at Mumbai Comic Con 2026, running May 9-10 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex. Solo Leveling voice actor Taito Ban headlines a guest roster that includes A-1 Pictures producer Atsushi Kaneko, One Piece singer Hiroshi Kitadani, and DJ Kazu.
The marquee attraction is a dedicated Solo Leveling panel on May 9, featuring Taito Ban the Japanese voice behind protagonist Sung Jinwoo alongside animation producer Atsushi Kaneko. The session will explore production details and behind-the-scenes insights from the hit A-1 Pictures adaptation. Vijay Vikram Singh hosts the panel, while Rajesh Shukla, the Hindi voice of Sung Jinwoo, joins for a live dubbing segment of iconic scenes from the series.
Panel timings have not been announced yet, but the Crunchyroll booth operates from 11 AM to 8 PM on both days.
Hiroshi Kitadani, best known for performing the legendary One Piece opening "We Are!", takes the stage on May 9 with a set of anime anthems. DJ Kazu rounds out the music programme with J-Pop and anison sets across both days of the convention.
Beyond performances, Crunchyroll has assembled a slate of hands-on fan activities. A professional dubbing booth lets attendees step into the recording studio and voice scenes from Solo Leveling, Sentenced to Be a Hero, and Fire Force. Photo installations themed around Suzume's iconic door and a Grand Line photo zone inspired by One Piece give convention-goers shareable moments. A collaborative Ani-May thread art installation rounds out the interactive lineup.
The merchandise counter stocks tote bags, My Hero Academia postcards, Solo Leveling posters, Suzume magnets, LED wristbands, balloons, and Ani-May pins. Attendees with a Powerpass receive additional exclusives: a mobile stand, sticker sheet, and button buddy.
Crunchyroll's expanding India footprint has been visible through its growing slate of Hindi and regional-language dubs over the past year, and the Mumbai Comic Con activation marks the platform's most ambitious on-ground effort in the country to date. Bringing Japanese talent of Ban and Kaneko's stature to an Indian convention floor alongside the Hindi voice cast signals that the Indian anime market is firmly on the global industry's radar. Mumbai Comic Con 2026 takes place at Jio World Convention Centre on May 9-10, with booth hours from 11 AM to 8 PM both days.
