Yuki Tabata's Black Clover has ended with chapter 392 in the Spring 2026 issue of Jump GIGA, closing an 11-year run with the final Asta versus Yuno Wizard King battle.

Yuki Tabata's Black Clover has officially ended. The manga's final installment, chapter 392, ran in the Spring 2026 issue of Shueisha's Jump GIGA magazine on May 1, 2026, closing out a story that began in Weekly Shonen Jump on February 16, 2015. The finale arrives just over 11 years after Asta first picked up his anti-magic grimoire.
Shueisha confirmed the conclusion during its Jump Press 2026 broadcast on April 27, revealing that the Spring 2026 GIGA would carry the final three chapters together roughly 120 pages of new material in a single drop. The closing arc centers on the long-promised duel between Asta and Yuno to decide the next Wizard King, the rivalry that has anchored the series since its very first chapter.
The Jump GIGA Spring cover features Asta in full Wizard King regalia, and while Shueisha has not formally confirmed the outcome, the imagery has been read by readers as a strong hint at how the Asta-Yuno contest resolves. The final volume of the tankobon release is expected to follow later in 2026 and may include bonus epilogue pages, in line with how recent Jump headliners have handled their endings.
Black Clover serialized weekly in Shonen Jump until August 21, 2023, when Tabata moved the series to the quarterly Jump GIGA to handle the demands of the final arc on a more sustainable schedule. The shift was framed at the time as a health-driven decision, and the slower cadence allowed Tabata to map out a longer, denser endgame than a weekly schedule would have permitted.
In his message published alongside the finale, Tabata thanked readers directly: "I'm truly grateful to all the readers who stayed with it until the end." Shueisha has indicated that Tabata intends to return with new work after a break, though no next project has been announced.
The manga's ending closes one of the defining shonen serials of the 2010s. The TV anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot ran for 170 episodes between 2017 and 2021 before going on hiatus, and the 2023 Netflix film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King continued the story on screen. With the source material now complete, the path is clear for an anime continuation to adapt the remaining arcs in full, though no new TV project has been announced by Pierrot or Shueisha.
The Black Clover anime and the Sword of the Wizard King film remain available on Netflix in India, and the Manga Plus app continues to host the series' chapters in English for readers catching up on the final arc. With chapter 392 now out, the entire 11-year run is readable end-to-end for the first time.
Attention now turns to the collected final volume and to whatever Tabata announces next through Jump GIGA.
